Feminists Advocating for Community and Equity (FACE) is an organization composed of students, faculty, and staff at Oklahoma State University which strives to do the following:
- to provide an interdisciplinary forum for collaborative action for the campus and Stillwater community interested in intersectional feminisms
- to give exposure to Queer, Trans and feminist intellectual and artistic traditions and issues on campus
- to actively center voices and perspectives that are often marginalized in feminist spaces
- to coordinate with other groups and organizations across the OSU campus and Stillwater community to envision and foster intersectional feminist futures
Our group meets weekly to discuss ongoing projects including our monthly zine, BAE, and a Disorientation Guide for OSU. We also organize events in response to current issues on campus and in our communities.
During the Fall of 2017, we meet every Wednesday at 2:30 PM.
